GMI Technology Inc. (Public, TPE: 3312) today announced that their shareholders have approved to issue 15 million new shares of stock to raise capital. The issuance of new shares was previously approved by the board of directors. Capital raised to be used to fund business growth and new opportunities. Total shares outstanding will become 87 million, and the all new shares are expected to be issued by September 30, 2010.
